E para fechar os posts carnavalescos de 2016 deixo-vos um palhaço em ponto pequeno.

Para este fato encontrar tecido não foi um problema porque estes são os tecidos típicos da época e que se podem encontrar facilmente em qualquer loja de tecidos. Quanto aos moldes esses foram desenhados por mim tendo por base um molde de pijama de calça e casaco que tenho. As calças são simplesmente umas calças direitas de elástico na cintura. A camisola tem corte em A e tem naturalmente uma gola grande, típica dos palhaços. Para a gola usei o tule azul que sobrou das asas do dragão que fiz há uns anos e que mostrei aqui. Fiz vita de viés com um bocado de tecido amarelo e no final resultou muito bem para a gola. Nas mangas decidi colocar elástico e fiz apenas um pequeno folho de tule.

Apesar de os moldes terem corrido bastante bem e de não serem precisos nenhuns ajustes finais quando o meu sobrinho experimentou o fato, o decote não ficou como eu queria. Com a vontade de não fazer o decote demasiado rente ao pescoço acabei por o fazer um pouco largo. Ainda assim ele adorou o fato e ficou super contente. No dia de se vestir para a escolinha levou uma camisola azul por baixo e disfarçou.

To close the 2016's carnival season I am showing you my little clown.

For this costume, finding the fabric was not a problem as these are the typical carnival fabrics and patterns that can be found in every fabric store. As for the pattern I have draw it myself, using as base pattern a pajama's pattern I have. The pants are simple elastic waisted pants. The sweater is A shaped and then there is the big collar, typical for clowns. For this I have used some blue tule  had left from the dragon's wings I made some years ago (check it out here). I used some yellow fabric to make some vies ribbon and used it to finish the collar, I think it worked pretty well. For the sleeves I decided to use some elastic and just a little bit of tule.

Although the pattern has worked well overall, and there was absolutely no need for any adjustments when he first tried the costume on, the neckline was not as I really wanted it to be. I was so worried not to make it too close to the neck that ended up making it a bit too large. Nevertheless, on the dress up for school day he used a blue sweater beneath and it worked well. Overall he loved the costume and was extremely happy about it.
