De lá para cá tem vindo a crescer lentamente,  confesso que durante uns tempos me quase me esqueci dele e não o reguei tanto quanto deveria mas entretanto entrei nos eixos, e nós já nos habituamos a ir espreitar e regar o limoeiro. O Tomás tem curiosidade mas o que ele queria mesmo era poder mexer na terra e arrancar as folhinhas.
Nos último dias ele tem crescido bastante e houve uma folha em particular que de um dia para o outro deu um pulo. Por isso decidi fazer um post mensal sobre a evolução do limoeiro (que um dia há-de ir para a terra, quando tivermos um jardim a sério) com o devido registo fotográfico. 

Até agora só tenho mesmo a foto do dia em vi as primeiras folhinhas e depois disso já só fotos durante este período de quarentena. Mas de agora em diante vou fazer o registo mensal.
Esta “experiência verde” espontânea correu bem e despertou o interesse do Tomás por isso tenho andado a pensar qual vai ser a próxima coisa que vamos semear, tinha pensado numa laranjeira mas ainda hoje fiz um sumo de laranja e as laranjas que por aqui passam não têm sementes. O que normalmente é excelente ( não ter sementes nas laranjas é optimo para fazer sumo) hoje não pareceu assim tão bom...

Last Septemeber, the 29th to be exact, I used a lemon that came from my parents lemon tree and when opening it I noticed a germinated seed. Not really sure why but that seed caught my attention and I decided to sow it on a small vase, withouth high expectations but at the same time couldn't help to think that if a lemon tree came out of that it would be a baby of my parents lemon tree.

Only after 26 days did I notice the first green leafes. Great I had a mini lemon tree!

Since then it has been growing slowly, I must say at some time I kind of forgot about it and probably did not water it the way I should, but now I am back on track, and we got used to go see how the lemon tree is and watering it. Tomás is curious about it but what he really wanted was to be able to get in the dirt with his hands and picking the leafes.

These last couple of days it has been growing more and one of the leafes just grew a lot overnight. So I decided to have a monthly post about the growth of our lemon tree (that one day will be part of our garden, when we have a proper one) with the respective photos.

So far I only have the picture from the first leafes and then pictures during this quarantine period but from now on I will take one every month.

This spontaneous "green experience" went well and it got Tomás' attention so I have been thinking about the next one, I thought of an orange tree but I just made some juice and noticed that the oranges we have lately don't have any seeds. Funny what ussually appeared to be great (no seeds on the orange is just great for juice) did not look that great today...
