Ultimamente parece-me que toda a gente está grávida. A natalidade está a descer a pique mas no meu círculo de amigos/ familiares isso não se verifica. Por isso, ando a fazer roupa de bebé (e o fato de Carnaval do meu sobrinho, mas isso fica para outro dia) hoje vou mostrar-vos mais uns calções de bebé.

Lately it seams to me everyone is pregnant. I know the number of babies is drastically decreasing in Portugal but that doesn't look like it withtin my friends and family. So, I sew baby clothes (and obviously my nephew's carnival costume but that's another story). Today I will show you some baby shorts.

Gosto muito deste tecido, não sei bem se é por ser amarelo, por ter gatos ou por tudo. É um tecido que a minha mãe me deu (acho que é de quando eu e o meu irmão éramos pequenitos), e tinha exactamente o suficiente para estes calções (estes vão ficar na família). O modelo em si não é novidade, já tinha mostrado antes nestes outros calções mas um tecido diferente faz imensa diferença.

I realy like this fabric. I am not sure wether it is because of the color (yellow) or because it has cats. Maybe both. It's a fabric my mother gave to me some time ago, I think it is from the time me and my brother were little. It had exactly the fabric I needed for this shorts (these are going to stay in the family). The pattern itself is not new, I have done it before here, but a different fabric makes such a difference.

Estive a fazer etiquetas novas com mais informação e já usei uma nestes calções. Estes calções são para o tamanho 3 meses.

As alças têm duas posições possíveis cruzadas ou não, e são ajustáveis atrás. Por outro lado, como estão presas com botões tanto atrás como à frente, se a mamã não quiser as alças é só tirar e ficam uns calções normalíssimos.

I have ben making some new labels with some information and I have used it in this shorts. This shorts are a size 3 months.

The straps have two possible positions crossed in the back or not, and two posible sizes on tha back. Moreover, as the straps tie to the shorts with buttons, both in the front and the back, if mumy doesn't want straps just needs to take it off.

Desta vez quero fazer um body a combinar mas ainda tenho que comprar a agulha da máquina, para coser a malha de algodão com que quero fazê-lo.

This time I want to make a matching onesie but I still need to buy the sewing machine needle to sew the elastic cotton I want to make it with.
