Guardei uma coisa especial para o último post do ano: o casasco de fazenda que fiz para o meu sobrinho.
Antes de mais tenho que agradecer à Marte do blog Compagnie M que gentilmente me deu o pattern d casaco que ela própria desenhou. Já conhecem o blog? Se não conhecem vale bem a pena visitar, a Marte tem patterns lindíssimos.
A Marte fez o casaco em amarelo para uma menina.
I have a special thing for the last post of the year: a boy's coat I made for my nephew.
I first have to thank Marte from Compagnie M who has gently given me the coat's pattern, which was drawn by herself. Do you know her blog? If not you should. Marte has gorgeous patterns that you need to check.
Marte has made the coat in yellow for a little girl.
O pattern foi originalmente desenhado para menina mas com umas adaptações ficou perfeitamente adptado. Basicamente, e tal como a Marte sugeriu, foi só tirar a prega nas costas e mudar o corte em A para um corte a direito. Escolhi fazenda azul marinho para o meu casasco de rapaz.
This pattern was originally drawn for girls but with only a few changes it was good for a boy. Like Marte suggested, I have only removed the box pleat from the back and remove the A line shape. I choose navy blue for this boy's coat.
E para o forro fiquei contente com o tecido que encontrei também em tons de azul mas sem ser liso. Dá uma graça ao interior do casaco, gosto de forros divertidos.
For the lining I was glad I found this fabric also blue but with a nice pattern. I like fun linnings it gives the coat's inner side something more.
Não consegui tirar nenhuma foto ao meu sobrinho com o casaco vestido, tirar fotos não é muito do agrado dele. Mas se entretanto conseguir mostro para verem como ficou.
I coul not get a photo of my nephew wearing it, photos is not his thing. But if I get it I will show you.
