Peter Pan

My nephew needed a Peter Pan costume for the end of year school party.
It was a simple costume to make but still a success.
Time was quite limited so I simplified as much as possible. To design the pattern I used one of his t-shirts and just made it a bit longer and cut the ending in zig zag shape. Seams were also done in zig zag, fast and simple. As for the troussers I just found these brown leggings that worked great (original Peter Pan has greeb trousers but I could not find any green leggings). The belt was made with brown felt and off course shoe covers were a must have here.
For the hat I also used felt as the fabric has some stifness that was needed in the hat. The feather was also done with felt and a chenille stem. There are lots of patterns and Peter Pan hat tutorials, I followed this one.

 E lá vai o Peter Pan a voar, a voar, a voar!

There goes Peter Pan flying!
